With Moonbot Studios, a children’s animation star remakes the cinematic experience. And that’s just his first trick.

Taking a page out of Tesco’s book, Glamour created what might be one of the first “shoot-to-shop” OOH executions in the US. Glamour approached some of their longest standing beauty product advertising partners and encouraged them to take part in an execution that allows passers-by to literally take a picture to purchase their products. Brands ranging from C.O. Bigelow to Clearasil participated in the innovative execution that leveraged SnapTags from SpyderLink.
The magazine previously used Facebook-enabled SnapTags in the coveted September issue and is set to feature SnapTags for e-commerece in their upcoming March issue.
Today, 74 days before the Hunger Games is released (which features the story of the 74th Hunger Games…get it?), Lionsgate announced the pre-sale date for tickets to the flick. Fans will be able to start buying tickets on Feb 22, one month before the flick finally hits theaters.

“The Help triumphed as nominations were announced Wednesday morning for the 18th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. The DreamWorks production about race relations in the ’60s South scored four nominations, earning a leading role nomination for Viola Davis who plays the maid Aibileen Clark, supporting noms for Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer, and a motion picture ensemble nom.
The other films nominated for best motion picture ensemble are the silent movie The Artist, the bawdy comedy Bridesmaids, the family drama The Descendants and the romantic comedy Midnight in Paris.”
